Standing Ready:
A Community Prepared…

No community is immune from the devastation of a disaster. Before the events of 9-11, few of us really thought about disaster preparedness

We prepare our children against disease by immunizing them, we prepare for many of life’s future challenges like retirement and college by planning and saving money, but when it comes to preparing for a disaster, often, it is all to easy to think “It won’t happen to me.”

Standing Ready is a definitive way to prepare for a disaster. It is a way that you can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with family, friends, colleagues and neighbors to create a network of help through preparedness.

Standing Ready can help you get started. "Be prepared, be informed;
Get ready!

Standing Ready’s mission is to
Provide Resources for Education and Training
Offer Disaster Preparedness Information
Provide opportunities for service
Nurture Community Involvement
Assist Emergency Response Capabilities

Together we can establish a vital, life-saving network of preparedness. Our main goal: To never again be caught unprepared. We WILL be Standing Ready.
